Charlotte M. Trudel, 95, of Nashua, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, November 27, 2017 at Kindred Transitional Living Center in Nashua. Charlotte was the widow of Patrick L. Trudel, whom she married in 1943 and shared 35 years together until his passing on May 21, 1978.

A daughter of the late Peter and Violet (LaPan) Fredette, Charlotte was born on March 16, 1922 in Proctor, Vermont and was educated in Proctor schools. Charlotte relocated from Vermont to Nashua, NH where she met and married her husband. After Patrick completed his military service, the couple raised their two sons while living in the French Hill section of Nashua and enjoyed the friendship of many families throughout the area.

She was employed for many years, first at Nashua Plastics and the remaining years at Hampshire Manufacturing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and shopping with her sister, Lois. She loved watching the Red Sox and was fortunate to shake hands with Ted Williams, during his visit to Nashua after World War II.

Besides her husband and parents, Charlotte was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Joseph Fredette and their spouses; her sister, Mary McKenna; her grandson, Robert Trudel Jr; and many aunts and uncles.

Members of her family include her sons, Patrick L. Trudel Jr. and his wife Louise of Nashua, and Robert R. Trudel and his wife Connie of Penobscot, ME; two granddaughters and their husbands, Amy and Gerry Blanchard, and Tammy and Todd Gilmore all residing in Massachusetts; her sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Harry Duffina of Brandenton, FL; also many nieces, nephews and their extended families.

Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Wednesday evening, November 29th from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad Street, Nashua, Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend and will gather at the church. On behalf of our entire family, our deepest condolences. Aunt Charlotte was an important person that touched all our lives and we will never forget those moments. May she rest in Peace that she so deserves. We will always remember her.
