Vahrij was someone you would never forget . I met him while visiting with my nephew , attending VMI, upon his graduation. My sister Jaye was a close friend of Vahrij and that’s how I met him. What a heart; such a caring human being: he loved my SOUTHERN ACCENT AND I LOVED HIS! He will remain in my heart and when that final day has come for me, and God has called me home, Vahrij and I will laugh and continue once again living with no pain .

Mr. Manoukian's passing is a loss for southern NH. He was so gracious and kind to my elderly father who would get my mothers pills at Hollis Pharmacy because of Docu-dose. Vahrij would always check in with me to see how things were going and he was always kind to my father. He was also very kind to my daughter, who became a pharmacist and now works at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, when she was starting her career journey. He offered himself as support, as mentor, and champion to her. As Oz said to the tinman, "A heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others." Thank you for your kindness and open heart. May his memory be eternal.

It was my honor to have known him and to have spent time with him over the years, sharing conversation about politics, law, pharmacy issues, the Mideast and Lebanon, and the importance of family. His passing is a big loss to Hollis and to New Hampshire. May he rest in peace. You have my deepest condolences.

Dear Vera and Family It is with great sadness we heard the news of Vahrij’s passing. It is hard to believe that he has departed after his long and courageous battle with illness. Vahrij was a fighter with the true meaning of the word. He was from day one, the leader of the team. He was always triumphant and larger than life. He had a magnetic personality that brought the people he knew and encountered close to him. From the desks of the Hovaguimian Manoogian school in Beirut, to the Lebanese conflict, to Boston and finally to Hollis, he never lost his vital and free spirit and was able to appreciate the value of family, patriotism and friendship. Vahrij will be remembered. He will be missed. May he Rest In Peace.

Vahrij and Family, May the Lord keep you in his hands and bestow upon you an everlasting peace and comfort. It was through his nephew, LV Manoukian as a student in my classes at NCRJHS. LV shared his Armenian cultural background and contributed much to my geography classes. Later, I heard Vahrij speak at Pelham High School at the invitation of State Representative Hal Lynde and of the Pelham School District's HS guest speaker about the opioid crisis in a most personal and well informed way. Thank you!

Vahrij was a superb ambassador for the town of Hollis when he welcomed my wife and I during our relocation 4 years ago. He was a great pharmacist and he went out of his way to give us advice and guidance. He truly deserved being named Hollis Citizen of the Year. The world was a better place because of him. Our sincere condolences are extended to his family and many many friends. He will always be with us in spirit.
