Gabrielle B. (Simard) Gauthier, 94, of Nashua, NH, passed away Thursday morning, August 17, 2017 at Laurel Place in Hudson.
Gabrielle was born in Nashua to the late Eugenie (Dionne) & Edouard Simard. She attended St. Francis Xavier Parochial School and graduated from Nashua High in the class of 1940. Gabrielle married her husband, Herve E. Gauthier on November 22, 1945. The couple spent 52 years together before his passing on December 24, 1997.
Members of her family include her two sons, Ronald E. and his wife Dorothy A. Gauthier and Norman R. Gauthier and his wife Jane Piwowarski; three grandchildren, Michele A. (Gauthier) Hope of Nashua, Karyn M. (Gauthier) Meagher of Nashua, and James R. Gauthier and his wife Emily of Wheaton, MD; four great-grandchildren, Madeleine Hope, Nathan Hope, Jenna Meagher, and Ryan Meagher. In addition to her parents and husband, Gabrielle was predeceased by her sister Beatrice Simard.
