Helen A. (Keniston) Caggiano, 95, passed away Friday morning, February 23, 2018 at the Inn at Fairview in Hudson, NH.

Helen was born on July 9, 1922 to the late MaryJane (Duchesney) and James Keniston in Somerville, Massachusetts. She attended local schools and graduated from Somerville High School in 1940. Helen then continued her education at Middlesex Community College, where she received her Associates degree. She began her career working for the Sanborn company and then its successor. Helen later went to work for Hewlett-Packard for many years.

She married the love of her life, Anthony F. Caggiano on May 27, 1961. The couple began their lives together in Woburn, MA, they then spent twelve years in Port Charlotte, Florida, and made their home in Nashua in 2001. In her free time, Helen loved to play the piano and was very interested in her family’s genealogy.

Members of her family include her husband, Anthony F. Caggiano; her children, Tony Caggiano and Helen Caggiano; and a granddaughter, Ashley Keniston. In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her brother, Robert E. Keniston.

Calling hours will take place on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua. Her funeral service will be held Friday morning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody, MA. Dear Tony and family, Just want to send our sympathy to all of you. I remember your Mom went she arrived at The Fairview Inn. We all enjoyed talking with both your parents. Thank you too for all the attention you paid to our father, Matthew. You all were so kind to him. Sending you prayers and peace. Toni, Cathi, and Patti.
