Dear Carroll, I was saddened to learn of your Mum's passing. I will cherish her memory as one of the very best parts of my youth; she was always so welcoming and kind to all of us......a second Mother, to be sure. May her memory live on in those that knew and loved her most, and may those memories, in time, bring you and your family peace. I will remember her always, with a tear and a smile. Love to you, Cindy

I loved Aunt Marvis. She was the white sheep among her siblings and a strong christian influence on my life. She taught me to sew and knit and I always thought as a child that she and Uncle Frank were rich because their home was so tastefully done. It was only as an adult that I realized how hard they worked to make a better life. Aunt Marvis always kept us together and never judged. If she dissaproved of something she would carefully and with the utmost manners respond. I will miss you Aunt Marvis. I will miss your dignity and grace. To all of you who loved her and cared for her, you guys are awesome!! Although I am heartbroken, Uncle Frank and Aunt Marvis are together again...
