Michel David Beaucher, 61, of Nashua, passed away unexpectedly at his home, Saturday, June 18, 2016.
A lifelong resident of this city, Michel was born in Nashua on January 7, 1955, a son of the late Edgar L. and Cecile (Gagnon) Beaucher. He was educated in local schools and was a graduate of Nashua High School class of 1973. While in high school, Michel discovered his passion for art and painting, something his daughter would later share with him.
Michel worked in Nashua his entire career. He was a printer at City Hall for ten years, and then a hospitality professional at the former Sheraton Tara hotel for ten years. Lastly, he was the head maintenance professional at Boulder Park Apartments until he became disabled by a back injury.
Michel had an outgoing personality and a gift for gab! He was a true music fanatic and loved his Grateful Dead. Some of his favorite activities included playing thousands of cribbage games, shooting pool at local bars, and tossing horseshoes in the backyard with family and friends. Michel spent time hiking up Pack Monadnock with his son and daughter. The man loved his New England sports teams and watched the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins with his son. He enjoyed gardening and had a great green thumb.
Members of his family include his two beautiful children, Joshua and Jillian Beaucher whom he raised with his former wife, Ann (Anctil) Beaucher-Berube; a brother, Robert E. Beaucher and his wife LuAnn of Nashua; two sisters, Sue Anctil and her husband David of Nashua and Carol Wood of Hollis; nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Christopher, Nathan, Aaron, Jessica and Jonathan; and his two cats, Angel and Yin Yang.
