Grace M. (Hanson) Drouin, 83, of Nashua, widow of Robert J. Drouin, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, November 20, 2016 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, after a period of declining health.
A lifelong resident of Nashua, Mrs. Drouin was born on August 15, 1933, a daughter of the late Walter H. and Jessie Lillian (Hope) Hanson. She was educated in the Nashua School System.
Grace was a loving and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Canada and many destinations in the USA; and loved shopping and yard sales.
Members of her family include her three children and their spouses, Robert G. and Carol Drouin of Nashua, Craig G. and Ellin Drouin of Chester, NH and Ann G. and David Johnson of Nashua; nine grandchildren, Derek, Brian, Robbie, Morgan and Kyle Drouin, and Justin, Austin, Alaina and Faith Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Alex, Kate and Olivia; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband Bob who passed away in 2002; Grace was also predeceased by her brother, Herman H. Hanson; and her sisters, Barbara Clark, Arlene LeBlanc, Lila Ledoux and Carol Hanson.
Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Tuesday, November 22nd from 4 to 8 p.m. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home, Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock followed by interment in Edgewood Cemetery.
