David Andrew Boulia, 53, a lifelong Nashua resident, passed away Wednesday evening, January 11, 2017 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, due to complications from pneumonia, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
One of five children of the late Kenneth R. and Theresa C. (Mason) Boulia, he was born in Nashua on February 1, 1963. David was educated in Nashua schools and had been employed at Highland Tool Company, Inc.
David enjoyed spending time outdoors since he was a young boy. From riding bikes and hanging out at the dam with childhood friends he remained close to throughout his life, to camping trips up at Tripoli Rd in his teens and twenties, fishing and cookouts at Pa’s camp at Baboosic Lake and boating, snowmobiling and ice fishing at Uncle Don’s camp in Moultonborough. He especially looked forward each year to participating in the New Year’s Day Swim in Boston, the SONH Penguin Plunge at Hampton Beach and the Ice Fishing Derby at Lake Winnipesaukee where he will be missed this year. Above all David loved spending time with his family and friends and would spend days planning and preparing to make even the smallest occasions more special.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia I. (Perry) Boulia of Nashua, whom he married on July 4, 1992 and shared nearly 25 years together. Other beloved family members include two brothers and their wives, Kevin and Desiree Boulia of Nashua and Chris and Marsha Boulia of Weare; two sisters, Anne Cassidy and her husband Mike, and Mary Boulia; a father-in-law and mother-in-law Joseph and Dolores Perry, all of Nashua; two sisters-in-law, Susan Nutting and her husband Larry, of Nashua, and Judi Lavallee and her husband Phil of Merrimack; an Uncle and Aunt, Donald and Janet Boulia of Moultonborough; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
