Pauline (Gaudreau) Belowski, 94, a lifelong Nashua resident and widow of Walter A. Belowski, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a brief illness.
Mrs. Belowski was born in Nashua on October 4, 1922, a daughter of the late Napoleon and Margaret (Houldsworth) Gaudreau. She was educated in the Nashua School System.
Pauline loved family gatherings and enjoyed the outdoors and long walks. She was a very kind person and was proud of her daughter and her nieces and nephews. Mrs. Belowski was mechanically talented and could do repairs around her home and loved to knit. “To know Pauline was to love her”.
Pauline and her husband Walter were married on September 25, 1948, and shared over 50 wonderful years together until his passing on June 16, 1999. She was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Arthur and Dorothy Gaudreau and John and Joan Gaudreau; and her sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice M. and Charles Buzzell and Irene and John J. Belowski.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Margaret L. Belowski of Nashua; also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
There are no calling hours. Her funeral service will take place in the Anderson Chapel of Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst Street, Nashua, Monday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend.
