Peter C. Everett, 83, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Nashua, NH and Atlanta, GA, died on Wednesday June 24, 2015 in St. Petersburg, FL.
Born in Cambridge, MA on December 4, 1931, he was a son of the James and Elizabeth (Carroll) Everett. Peter was predeceased by his brothers, Richard, John and James; his sisters, Mary and Elizabeth “Buh” and by his friend and companion Janet Bernard.
Peter is survived by his six children, Sally Everett of St. Petersburg, FL, Andy Everett and his wife Sherri of Ft. Worth, TX, Beth Mitchell and her husband Jay of New York, NY and Falmouth, MA, Peter Everett and his wife Marilyn of Acworth, GA, John Everett of Elmira, NY and Patrick Everett of Norfolk, VA; twelve grandchildren; his former wife, Cathy Everett of Nashua, NH and Delray Beach, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
A lifelong executive in the textile and fiber industry, Peter began and ended his career with his family’s Wonalancet Company. He graduated from the Canterbury School in New Milford, CT.
Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, NH on Wednesday July 8th from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Christopher Church, 62 Manchester Street, Nashua, Thursday July 9th at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson, NH.
