Albert J. Ganavage, Jr., 76, formerly of Waterbury, CT and Phoenix, AZ, passed away, Thursday afternoon, July 30, 2015 in Nashua, NH with his loving family by his side.
Born in Waterbury, Connecticut on December 18, 1938 he was a son of the late Albert J. and Julia (Kebus) Ganavage. Educated in Watertown and Waterbury schools, “Al” was a graduate of Kaynor Technical High School Class of 1957.
A draftsman/ engineer, Al was employed with Pratt & Whitney in Connecticut for several years and later worked for Garrett and Honeywell in Arizona until his retirement in 2004.
In his leisure time, Al was an active outdoorsman and avid Fly fisherman.
Members of his family include his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher D. and Kimberly Peach of Nashua, NH with whom he has resided since 2014; three grandchildren, Joseph, Michael and Andrea Peach; a great-granddaughter, Kadence; a sister and brother-in-law, Julia and Spiro Kavarnos of Niantic, CT; and two nephews, Richard and Timothy Kavarnos.
