Leonard G. Brault, 63, of Nashua, passed away Monday evening, November 27, 2017 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center after a brief illness.
A Nashua native, Leonard was born on June 4, 1954, a son of the late Hector H. and Irene B. (Ravenelle) Brault. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Anne Marie Willey; his brother-in-law, Karl Erickson; and his dedicated caregiver of 17 years, Montgomery “Monty” Whitfield. Leonard attended the Nashua Center daily was a volunteer at the Bicentennial School in Nashua for many years.
Members of his family include two brothers and their wives, Peter M. and Patty Brault and Daniel P. and Susan J. Brault all of Nashua; two sisters, Susan G. Brault and Celeste A. Erickson all of Nashua; his brother-in-law, Alfred Willey of Nashua; his caregiver, Bryan Lord of Nashua; extended family from the Nashua Center and Gateway Community Services; also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
His family will receive relatives and friends at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Saturday, December 2nd from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 4 o’clock. Private interment will take place in St. Louis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to The Nashua Center or Gateway Community Services in Leonard’s memory.
