Helen C. Ackley of Hudson, New Hampshire, widow of Frederick J. Ackley, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, June 27, 2018. Helen was born in Nashua, New Hampshire the daughter of the late Leo Lee & Josephine ( Kopka ) Lee. She was a lifelong resident of Nashua and Hudson NH.
After 30 years of service she retired from Sprague Electric Company to join working in the family Accounting and Tax business, Ackley Associates, Inc.
Helen enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family, watching Red Sox Baseball and Patriots Football along with spoiling her granddog, Gracie.
Helen was the loving wife of Frederick Ackley, whom she married on March 11, 1946 and celebrated 61 years of marriage before his death on July 5, 2007. She was loved by many and will be truly missed.
Survivors include her two daughters, Christine Boucher of Nashua, NH and Linda Caron and her husband Roland of Hudson; her grandchildren, Lisa Tremblay and her husband Marc of Nashua, NH,
Tina Reeves of Nashua, NH, Frederick Boucher and wife Nicole of Windham, NH., Christopher Caron and wife Jess of Hudson, NH and Scott Caron of Chicago, Illinois; along with six great-grandchildren;
a brother Robert Lee and his wife Mary of Munising, Michigan: also, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Monday evening, July 2nd from 5 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring Street, Nashua, Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson.
