Normand W. Bouley, Sr., 81, of Nashua, passed away at his home, Saturday morning, August 18, 2018, after a period of declining health.
A lifelong resident of this city, he was born on May 23, 1937, a son of the late Henry J. and Yvonne (Bernard) Bouley. Normand was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1955 and served with the Army National Guard for three years. Normand was employed as a cabinet painter at Maine Manufacturing in Nashua for many years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed working on automobiles and traveling to the White Mountains and Sea Coasts of New England.
Normand was the widower of Shirley R. (Durivage) Bouley, who passed away March 8, 2000. They were married on May 11, 1960 at St. Louis de Gonzague Church.
Members of his family include three children and their spouses, Charles J. Sr. and Diane Bouley, Normand W. Jr. and Nina Bouley, and Annette and Robert Byrne; his partner, Marie Bouley; grandchildren, Stephen Bouley, Natasha Bouley, Charles Bouley Jr., Barbara Bouley, Bianca Cogar, Blake Byrne and Zachary Byrne; great-grandchildren, Rorke Cogar and Freya Cogar; a brother and three sisters-in-law, Leo and Violet Bouley; Betsy LaFond and Peggy Mailloux; brother-in-law, Edward Durivage; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Normand was also predeceased by two brothers, Raymond P. Bouley and Robert Bouley; and a sister, Jeannette McAlvey.
His family will receive relatives and friends at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Thursday afternoon, August 23rd from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. followed by committal prayers and interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
