William J. Duval, 56, a native and lifelong Nashua resident, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, August 29, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones.
Born in Nashua on June 5, 1962, he was the son of the late John D. and Gloria M. (McGuire) Duval. Educated in local schools, Bill was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1980. He has been employed with Kloeckner Metals Corporation of Nashua for the past 35 years.
A longtime member of the National Club of Nashua, Bill was an avid cribbage player and a member of National Club Cribbage League. An active sportsman, he enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, playing slow pitch softball and served as a coach for his boys growing up. Bill enjoyed time with his family at their summer cottage at Northwood Lake and enjoyed reading and gardening in his leisure time. He was also a sports enthusiast of the New England sports teams.
Members of his family include his wife, Susan M. (Brodeur) Duval, whom he married on May 4, 1985 and shared 33 wonderful years together; three sons, Cody J. Duval, Cameron William Duval and Connor P. Duval; special family friend, Katrina Pepin, fondly known as “Little Feet”; three sisters, Ann Cottrell, Susan Duval and Brian Davis, and Nancy J. McAfee and her husband Kevin; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marc and Helene Brodeur and Cyndi and Mark Chasse; his nieces and nephews, Bethany Cottrell, Ian, Tyler, Adam and Elizabeth McAfee, Kayla Duval, Patrick and Kaitlin Brodeur, Shane and Madison Warchol; and several cousins.
Calling hours will be held on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 15th from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua followed by a Prayer Service at 4 o’clock.
