Potter, Jason L.

Jason L. Potter, 29, of Nashua, NH, formerly of North Stratford, NH, died unexpectedly Friday June 12, 2015 in Epsom, NH.  He was the loving father of Jason L. “JJ” Potter Jr and Dalyla L Potter.

Born in Colebrook, NH on March 31, 1986, he was the son of Karie (Congdon) (Potter) Boucher and her husband David Boucher, of Nashua, NH and Linwood “Frog” Potter III and his wife Shelly, of Groveton, NH.  He received his education in the Nashua, NH School System and the Groveton, NH School System and was a graduate of Groveton High School class of 2004.

Jason had most recently been employed as a landscaper.  Formerly he had worked in the construction industry and was considered a “Jack of all trades.”

In his free time Jason enjoyed the outdoors.  He was passionate in all he accomplished.  He loved to fish and hunt, snowmobile, four wheeling on his ATV, and just about any activity that could be enjoyed outdoors.  He was a mechanic by nature and there was nothing he could not fix when broken.  Most of all Jason enjoyed being in the company of his children, teaching them his skills and watching them grow.

In addition to his son, daughter, mother and father, he is survived by his partner and the mother of his children Amanda Robinson of Groveton, NH, his sister Harleigh Boucher of Nashua, NH, and Courtney Potter of Groveton, NH, three step sisters and two step brothers Amber, Cori, Terri, Bobby and Ross, his maternal grandmother Claire A. Congdon of Merrimack, NH, his gramps Tommy Fogg of North Stratford, NH; his God parents, Lisa Wood and Thomas Bowen; an adopted uncle, Roger Couture of Bloomfield, VT;  and several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

It being his wish there will be no formal calling hours.  There will be a Celebration of Jason’s Life, held on Saturday June 27, 2015 at Greeley Park, Concord St., Nashua, NH from 1 until 5 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to remember and celebrate Jason, outdoors, where Jason enjoyed his passions.  In Lieu of flowers, a memorial scholarship benefitting his children has been set up at DCU19 Premium Outlets Blvd, Merrimack, NH 03054.  Contributions may be made to the Jason L. Potter Memorial Scholarship Fund. Arrangements are in the care of the FARWELL FUNERAL SERVICE, 18 Lock Street, Nashua. (603) 882-0591. www.farwellfuneral.com
