   Thelma C. Puckett, 95, of Nashua, widow of Glendon F. Puckett, passed away on Monday afternoon, January 5, 2015 at Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson.

     Mrs. Puckett was born in Nashua on February 24, 1919 a daughter of the late Edward and Clare (Budro) Poulin. She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church and was a member of the Arlington Street United Methodist Church both of Nashua.

     Thelma had been employed with Sprague Electric Company for several years and later worked at Almy’s Department Store at the Nashua Mall. She enjoyed cooking, and shopping and outings with her daughter Linda and her granddaughter Holly.

     Members of her family include her daughter Linda A. Michos and her husband Ted; a granddaughter, Holly J. Bourque and her husband Benny; a brother, Walter N. Poulin and his wife Blanche of Nashua; a sister, Rosalie Malhoit of Nashua; many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. Thelma was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Glendon F. Puckett who died June 20, 1989; a brother, The Rev. Hector Poulin; and two sisters, Sybil E. Parent and Marguerite Brodeur.

    Linda and her family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staffs of Fairview Nursing Home and Home Health & Hospice Care for their excellent care and compassion shown for Thelma.

    Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held in the Arlington Street United Methodist Church, 63 Arlington St, Nashua, Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson.
