Maurice A. “MO” Ouellette

   Maurice A. “MO” Ouellette, 87, a lifelong Nashua resident, passed away Tuesday morning, February 19, 2019 at the All American Assisted Living in Londonderry, after a period of declining health.

Born in Nashua on September 5, 1931, he was a son of the late Arthur and Eva (Marois) Ouellette. MO has resided at the family home in the French Hill neighborhood of this city his entire life. He attended the former St. Francis Xavier Parochial School and graduated from Nashua High School Class of 1949.

MO had been employed with Sanders Associates, Inc. now BAE in Nashua for over thirty years. He worked in the material control department at both the Canal Street and Spitbrook Road facilities.

In his leisure time, MO enjoyed country western and line dancing, candlepin bowling and was a New York Yankees fan.  He took pleasure in tending to his flower garden.

Members of his family include his wife, Dorraine F. (St. Onge) Ouellette, whom he married at St. Francis Xavier Church on April 26, 1952 and would have celebrated their 67th anniversary this year; his daughter and son-in-law, Denise M. and Andre Montminy, DMD of Pelham; two grandsons and their wives, Marc and Sarah Montminy and Christian and Nicole Montminy; four great-grandchildren, Honorae, Owen, Addalyn and Charlie; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Estelle and Robert Boucher of Nashua; several nieces, nephews and cousins including his niece, Kathy Busby and her husband Steve and their sons, Christopher and Nicholas. One of six children, MO was predeceased by his siblings, Simone Buslovich, Lionel Ouellette, Raymond Ouellette, and twins Annette Seymour and Jeannette Hudon.

His funeral service will be held in the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, Saturday morning at 10 o’clock followed by interment in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity of one’s choice.

We will always remember the fun we had country western dancing, Lake George and Orlando, FL. Moe was a great guy and we feel blessed to have had the opportunity to know him. Dick & Lil Lawson

My favorite curmudgeon. A wealth of horticulture knowledge. Talks about Old French Hill. You and Do sitting on the front porch. I will miss you Mo but will remember you with a smile and many fond memories.

I remember all the fun filled trips Uncle Mo and Aunt Dorraine brought my brothers and I on when we were kids, Silver Lake, Pine Island Park especially. Great memories. Always want to remember you as my favorite aunt and uncle.
