To the children, grandchildren and family of Bill: I met Bill when I started working at J. F. McElwain in 1968, my first job out of college. I worked in the office but knew Bill from playing in the golf league. He and I had many battles on the golf course through the years as we played against each other as team captains. I must say he beat me way more than I beat him. He was an excellent golfer and I truly enjoyed competing against him. He was a true gentleman and good sport. He, along with Roger Chantal, Tony Sydlowski and Clarence Rodier were guys I looked up too and hung around with at golf and after golf drinking beers and having a good time. I learned a lot from these guys. I also knew your mom somewhat as I used to see her at all the golf banquets. I had run into Bill a couple years ago or so at Green Meadow G. C. and he was the same old friendly self. We had a nice chat. I am very sorry to learn of his passing. I truly appreciate all he and the other three gentlemen did to get me started in life after school. They are all missed and I reflect back frequently on my good times back in the 1960's and 1970's with your dad and the J. F. experience. I learned a lot of good stuff and some might say "not so good stuff":) My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Peter Chaloner

To the Raiche family. Sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I grew up with Mike and Tom in crown hill and remember your father well. Sliding down the hill in the back yard on Gillis street in the winter and riding bikes all around Arlington street area. My thoughts and prayers are with you family.
