Harold L. Morin, 90, of Nashua, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 14, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospital, after a brief illness.
A longtime Nashua resident, he was born in Hudson on December 10, 1928 a son of the late Joseph E. and Josephine L. (Hanson) Morin. Mr. Morin was educated in local schools, and served in the Air Force from October 23, 1951 to December 26, 1956.
Harold had been employed with the Raytheon Company in Massachusetts as a sheet metal engineer for many years.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed taking care of his garden and swimming pool; was a fan of The Boston Red Sox and loved listening to music of Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.
Members of his family include his beloved wife, Theresa E. (Landry) Morin, whom he married on October 29, 1949 and would have celebrated their 70th anniversary this year; three daughters, Cheryl A. Mucko of Nashua, Cindy Arel and her husband Richard of Merrimack and Carla Snowdon and her husband Will of Simsbury, CT; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Burbank, Shannon Kilmartin and her husband Mickey, Travis Arel and his wife Lindsay, Sheriden Beard, Savannah Beard, Quincy Snowdon and Cooper Snowdon; three great-grandchildren, Wesley, Michael and Katie; a sister, Elaine Adamonis of Nashua; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Harold was predeceased by two brothers, Norris J. Morin and Francis Morin; four sisters, Rosamond Cuscia, Nancy Morin, Priscilla Palmer and Gloria Cote; his son-in-law, Frank Mucko; and a great-grandson, Caleb Arel.
Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Friday evening, May 17th from 5 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 West Hollis Street, Nashua, Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson. Friends are invited to attend and will gather at the church.
