Genevieve B. “Ginger” Pietuch

   Genevieve B. “Ginger” Pietuch, a native and longtime Nashua resident, passed away Tuesday morning, June 11, 2019, following a lengthy illness.     

   Born in Nashua on June 29, 1925, Ginger was the last surviving child of Jan and Bronislawa Pietuch. Educated in local schools, Ginger was a graduate of Nashua Senior High School Class of 1942 and graduated from Nashua Business College.

    Ginger was employed as the office manager of Royal Business Forms in Nashua for over 25 years. She previously worked for the former Nashua Manufacturing Company and Textron.    

     She was a communicant of the former Saint Stanislaus Polish Church, and later became a communicant of St. Louis de Gonzague Church. Ginger was a very creative person, designing clothing and many pieces of enameled on copper artwork.

    An avid reader and accomplished cooked, Ginger pleased her many friends with Polish foods and prepared special holiday food gift packages for her friends. She always searched for new recipes and compiled a library of 300 cookbooks, which she donated to Southern New Hampshire University Library.

Ginger was a very well groomed and stylish person. She always made a stunning and charming appearance at all events she attended.

   Ginger travelled throughout the United States and to all the continents of the world. She often returned to places of particular interest.

   She is survived by a niece, Barbara Pietuch of Helena, Montana. Ginger was close to John and Louise Deschenes of Nashua, Bobbie Decker and Buddy Saupe of San Mateo, CA, Ann Richardson of Lake Placid, NY and care givers, Fred and Natalie Dobrowolski of Manchester, NH.

    In addition to her parents, Ginger was predeceased by her sister, Mary Ann Pietuch; and her brother and sister-in-law, Dominick “Daniel” and Rosalie Pietuch of Billings, Montana.

    We wish to thank the Administration, Staff, Nurses and Aides who gave kind and compassionate care to Ginger while at Bedford Falls, Harbor Care Unit in Bedford, NH and to Brookhaven Hospice.      

    There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 West Hollis Street, Nashua, Monday morning, June 17th at 10 o’clock. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend. Contributions in her memory may be made to The Felician Sisters, Our Lady of Angels Convent, 1315 Enfield Street, Enfield, CT 06082 or to the charity of one’s choice.
