I was Peter's freshman year roommate at UNH. He was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor, an endearing smile, and a twinkle in his eye. I recently thought of him after hearing a Bob Dylan song...he was a huge Bob Dylan fan. It gave me cause to reach out and contact him after these many years. I was very saddened to find out of his passing. My sincere sympathies and condolences to his family.

I have known Pete for 35 years when we started off in the CDM lab together. He was a gentle soul with a wicked sense of humor. Though we moved off in different directions it was always great to run into my old friend when the opportunities arose. I will miss him. My sincerest condolences to his family.

To the family and friends my deepest condolences on your loss. Perhaps some comfort can come to you through the Holy Scriptures when we read and have faith in the power that our Lord Jesus received from his father in heaven while he was a man on earth. One of such sources could be found in the book of John chapter 11 where he resurrects his dear friend Lazarus which gives us a clear hope of seeing once again our loved ones in the future. Again my prayers and thoughts are with you at this time.

Peter always called to check in on how I was doing every year. It was always "hey William how are you doing." I worked with Peter on several projects and never will forget his commitment at CDM. He would often talk about his sons and how proud he was of their accomplishments. I will miss Peter and so sorry for the loss, Peter he made a better person. God Bless.

Peter was a humanitarian. Starting in 2017, I had the honor of working with him on the STEM for Syrian Refugees project with the founders Ayman and Shirin. Peter worked so hard on this project, raising money, guiding us toward non-profit status, doing anything that needed to be done with deep cultural sensitivity and insights from his prior with Iraqi refugees. I also worked with Peter at CDM in the 90s where he was the go-to-person for any laboratory and chemistry questions. Many people looked for an excuse to go see Peter and hang out for awhile.

Sincere condolences. I met Peter through a small group at Seven Mile Road church in Malden. Peter always had a smile on his face and a glimmer in his eye. He was kind, friendly, honest and welcoming. He was a blessing to our church family and a part of it. He will be deeply missed. Praying for family and friends.

I was one of Peter's first supervisors back at the old CDM lab in Government Square. He made an immediate transition to a tight-knit group there and was always dependable, friendly and willing to take on new things. His positive attitude and willingness to help was outstanding. He will be surely missed by all in the environmental profession that he worked with, and the immeasurable loss to his family goes without saying!

I worked with Peter in Guam for several years and also shared an apartment with him on the island when we worked there.I remember taking photograph of Peter hanging out at the Pool in Guam, while his family in Boston was buried under snow.... He made delete the photo and keep my big mouth shut. He was a great friend and I miss him very much and will remember him often!
