To the family and friends my deepest condolences on your loss and by the other comments here no doubt Rick was a wonderful person for anybody to know. There is good hope ahead for us that the Holy Scriptures promises for those we all have lost. Even our Lord Jesus that has been given great power to reverse the bad effects of death. He himself gave us a glimpse of the future when he resurrected his dear friend Lazarus from the grave in the account at John chapter 11. You will find this in time soothing to know what the future holds for many gone. Once again my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Rick I truly cherish all of the time I spent with you. I have always looked up to you since I can remember. I was always honored to have an uncle that served our country. You always were there when I asked you for help with something and you never forgot a birthday. You taught me a lot throughout my life about natural medicine, music, survival and much more. I was twelve when I wanted to learn how to play the guitar and you taught me the basics. You always let Johnny and I play your instruments when we were over your house. You taught me how to build brick steps when we did a job together a few years ago. Most of all I think you helped to teach me what it means to be a good person. I will do my best to pay it forward and I know that if I am half of the friend, mentor, or uncle that you were to everyone you knew I will be doing good. RIP Uncle Rick.

Rick - I will miss your stories, playing music with you, talking with you, and the yummy popcorn that you brought to many jam sessions, You were a talented musician and a very good friend. You're going to missed by a lot of people, including myself. R.I.P., my friend.

Rick you were a wonderful, loving person who touched our lives in so many ways. We will always remember the love you bestowed upon our sons, Eric and Johnny. Your love of music encouraged our sons to learn playing guitar. When they became young men you would jam with them regularly. We shared many Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter holidays with you and even birthdays, Christenings, weddings and many other occasions. It is very hard for us to grasp the sudden illness that eventually took your life, after a little over a month. I shall never forget all the healing that you did for my back pain with your extraordinary power of polarity. You helped so many people with your holistic knowledge and practice. God bless you always Rick for your generosity. We shared the same birthday. I shall think of you especially on our day. We will miss you terribly. We know Sandy will miss you with all her soul. Sandy was such a wonderful and caring caregiver during your illness until you took your last breath. May God be with Sandy during this difficult time in her life. We also pray for Rita and her husband on the loss of her brother, Rick. We also pray for Laura, Rick's niece, and her family. With our deepest sympathy, John and Hilda Slosek
