   Donald E. Jennings, Sr., 61, of Nashua, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 23, 2020.        

   Born in Nashua on August 14, 1958, he was a son of the late Richard A. Jennings and Helen M. (Gladson) Jennings Paquin. Educated in the Nashua School System, Don enlisted in the Army in 1976 and served for twenty years until his honorable discharge in 1996 and held the rank of Sergeant. After his military career, Don owned and operated Nashua Yellow Line.   

   Don enjoyed photography, bowling, shooting pool, karaoke, listening to music and going to concerts with friends and family. Don was a loving father, grandfather, brother and good friend to many.

   Members of his family include a daughter, Sheena Gilcreast and her husband Brandon of Hudson; two sons, Donald E. Jennings II of Merrimack and Rigel Garrett Jennings of Clarksville, TN; three grandchildren, Mikayla, Khloe and Kylee Gilcreast; three sisters, Patricia A. Jennings of Nashua, Diane M. Trombly and Maryann Paquin; five brothers, (his twin) Ronald W. Jennings and his wife Linda of Nashua, David J. Jennings and Douglas E. Jennings both of Brookline, Derick Jennings of Manchester, and Edward J. Paquin of Nashua; also numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his parents, Don was predeceased by two brothers, William Jennings and Richard A. Jennings, Jr.; a sister, Barbara R. Lachance; step-father, Edward J. Paquin; step-mother, Nancy J. (Farland) Jennings; and nephews, Michael and Nicholas Jennings.    

   Due to health and safety concerns, his calling hours and interment will take place at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of the FARWELL FUNERAL SERVICE, 18 Lock Street, Nashua. www.farwellfuneralservice.com

I miss you, I really wanted you in my life before you passed. I missed your funeral because I had just started my first job, I regret not getting to talk to you before you died.

Sorry to hear this. I served with Don at Fort Hood Texas in the early 1980s. He was a good guy, and a lot of fun to be around.

Donald was a very likeable person and good friend in and out of school for many years and was a hard worker my heart goes out to his family, his sisters Patty, Diane, Maryann, and his twin brother Ronald (Ronald McDonald) they were like bookends always together until they both went in the service, May you all know that the entire Carlton family feels your loss and our hearts reach out to everyone of you, may Donald always Rest In Peace and may each and everyone of you stay healthy... You used to say we could be good for each other. Who I saw in you was good for me. Thank you for passing your loving nature to our son. His heart is for the one that claims it and wants to keep it. I wish things could have been different for you. I wish I could have healed your wounds. I hope that you are surrounded by people that love you. And doesn't it feel good to be home with our Father? I'm sorry that there are so many people that will miss you. Children that may be grown but whose heart is broken and yearns for one more hug. God knows you. He knows what you were before your trials. You are loved as that man. And you are missed as that brother and father and friend.

Words can’t begin to express how much I love you and was so blessed to have you as my Uncle. I will always remember you as the compassionate, loving, embracing, giving and selfless person you were.
