Edmond A. Boucher, 87, a lifelong Nashua resident, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 21, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital, after a period of declining health.
Born in Nashua on February 12, 1933, he was a son of the late Edmond and Velma (Salvail) Boucher. Educated in local schools, Ed was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1952. An Army veteran, Mr. Boucher served during the Korean War from May 1953 to March 1956 and was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal.
Ed had been employed with Sprague Electric Company as an expeditor for 32 years and then worked at Sanders Associates, Inc. for 15 years until his retirement.
In his leisure time, Ed enjoyed time with his family especially his granddaughter and great-granddaughters.
Members of his family include his wife, Estelle J. (Petrain) Boucher, whom he married on May 5, 1956 and together shared 64 years; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Linda Boucher of Nashua; granddaughter and her husband, Samantha and Brandon Block; three great-granddaughters, Autumn, Payton and Quinn Block; a brother, Gerard Boucher and his wife Rita; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Simone and Arthur Belair, Ovila and Diane Petrain, Linda Petrain, Richard Petrain, Gerard and Christina Petrain, Carolyn Boucher, Ann Petrain and Joan Petrain; also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
In addition to his parents, Ed was predeceased by his brothers, Conrad and Paul Boucher; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joseph Petrain, Sylvio Petrain, Donald Petrain, Albert Petrain, Clarice and Raymond Landry, Pauline and Robert Lefavor, Yvonne and Joseph Lamy, Constance Michaud Sykes, and Dorothy and Gilles Parent.
