Dear Mr. Harrington, I am so deeply sorry to hear of Mrs. Harrington's passing. :( Her energy, her joie de vivre, was palpable, so much so I can draw it to memory and feel it to this day. She was so good and kind to all. Your loss is so great and so painful. I will pray for you, and the family - missing a precious mom and grandma. With deepest condolences, Margaret (Birney) Villagomez (Peter Birney's daughter)

My heartfelt condolences to all in the Harrington family. I was privileged many years ago to have Mrs. Harrington as my Kindergarten teacher in a small Christian school in Massachusetts. Amy was in my class and I have such great memories of learning from Mrs. Harrington and being blessed by her kindness, compassion, liveliness and simply, good teaching combined with a heart for us, the little children under her care. May our Lord Jesus Christ comfort each one of you as only He can.

To Jim and family: I am so saddened to hear that my dear friend Linda had passed away. I met Linda in 1995 at Salem Christian School. I was the assistant in her class. Jim and Linda were a great blessing in my life. I attended their church and learned how to play bells. Linda and I both loved the beach and swimming. I would call Linda my swim buddy. When she retired, her new hobby, was quilting. Linda made me a beautiful sunflower purse and gave it to me for my birthday. I am so sad over her loss and will greatly miss her. Goodbye until we meet again. In my heart you will always be. Love your friend, LuAnn

I only met Linda once when she joined mutual friends, Marie, Betty and myself on a day trip to Maine in search of quilting fabric. Her bubbly personality made for a fun memorable day. I would like her family to know they are in my thoughts and prayers. Rest In Peace beautiful Linda.

It was with great sadness that I heard of Linda's passing. I have been friends with Linda and Jim for well over 35 years. I have watched their beautiful family grow and expand! I am certain that (as Scripture informs us) that her children and grandchildren will "rise up and call her blessed." Linda and Jim have been a very real blessing for me over these past many years. Their home was always one of hospitality and love. Proverbs 31:10-31- “Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts her… Many daughters have done well, But you excel them all. … a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised. Let her own works praise her in the gates.” Her gift of music was a treasure. She loved her Lord and utilized those gifts to His glory and in His service. I remember as well her skill in the kitchen! Her love of food and family and others radiated in everything she did. She was so proud of her daughters their families and her beloved grandchildren. Linda had the gift of giving itself. For some time I pastored a church in Linda's hometown of Mechanicville, New York. It is amazing the interconnectedness we share at times. I shared the following (from a author from this area) recently at a remembrance service. “Once we accept the fact that we shall also pass-on, we also discover the larger self which relates us to our family and friends, to our neighborhood and community, to nation and humanity, and indeed, to the whole creation out of which we have sprung. We are a part of all this, too, and death cannot entirely withdraw us from it. To the extent that we have exposed ourselves into all these related groups and persons, we live on in them.” Linda most assuredly lives on in all of you. We can be comforted by those words from Revelation- “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” My prayers are with you all- I so wish I could be with you at this time. May you know the rest and comfort of the One who is the Comforter- even the Holy Spirit. Take to heart the words of Isaiah (41:10) who assures us- “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” May the Lord uphold at this time. With love, Richard
