Tom was my hero when I was a boy of 11 years old. I joined Troop 21 in Somerville and knew that Tom was the father figure that I lacked at home. He was always there when I needed him. He guided me through my teenage years, was there with a kind word when needed and that "stare" when I screwed up. Tom, through your example as a Scout Leader, I stayed with the BSA till this day. I hope that I have continue to set an example to the many Scouts that you have done through your lifetime.

Thank you for sharing Tom with us. I will truly miss him saying "are you staying out of trouble?!" followed by his contagious giggle ringing down the hallways of Nashua Crossings. I will always appreciate his kindness and generosity of offering to show his apartment to curious prospects looking for their new home. Will a constant smile on his face he brightened everyone's day. He will be missed and remembered by so many. With my deepest sympathy, Amanda Anderson, Nashua Crossings
