Gail P. (Lambert) Nichols, 74, of Nashua, wife of George A. Nichols, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday afternoon, July 4, 2021.
A lifelong resident of this city, Gail was born on January 24, 1947, a daughter of the late Armand G. Lambert Sr. and Ruth Louise (Pohlman) Lambert Peters. She was educated in the Nashua School System and had been employed with Nashua Corporation in its computer products division for over 40 years.
In her leisure time, Gail enjoyed taking care of flower gardens and landscape at her home; traveling on many cruises and camping in her RV. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Members of her family include her husband George, whom she married on June 4, 1966 and shared over 55 years together; her children, Shawn Nichols and his significant other Vanessa McDevitt, and Robin Nichols – Cruz and her husband Luis Cruz Jr; two grandchildren, Joshua Eric Nichols and Mia Alexandra Cruz; three sisters, Kathleen Ashe, Bertha Scyoc, and Brenda Marquis and her husband Leo; three brothers, Armand G. Lambert Jr. and his wife Cynthia, Clifford W. Lambert and his wife Robin, and John E. Lambert; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Gail was predeceased by her step-father, Howard Peters; and her brother-in-law, Gary Ashe.
Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Friday, July 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home, Saturday afternoon at 12:45 p.m. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
