Fred Edward Turner, 69, of Lowell, MA, passed away Friday afternoon, September 3, 2021 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, after being stricken ill on Tuesday, August 31st.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on September 9, 1951, he was a son of the late John and Barbara (Clark) Turner. Fred grew up in Dracut, MA and was a graduate of Dracut High School, Class of 1970. He furthered his education, studying culinary arts and electronics.
Fred was employed in the men’s department of the Target department store at the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua.
He will be remembered as a friendly and fun-loving person. Some of his favorite pastimes were frequent trips and shopping in Salem, MA; going to amusement parks, riding roller coasters, flea markets and celebrating Halloween.
Members of his family include his brother, Mark R. Turner of St. Petersburg, FL; and close friends, Kim and Becky; and his cat, “Salem”.
In addition to his parents, Fred was predeceased by his brother, Daniel Robert Turner, a Vietnam War veteran, who passed away in 1969.
