Christopher Leonard Houle, Jr., 52, of Nashua, went home to be with The Lord, Saturday evening, September 25, 2021.
Born in Nashua on March 16, 1969, he is a son of Lorrain (Oliver) Houle Deveaux and the late Christopher L. Houle, Sr. who passed away in 2011. Chris was educated in local schools and served with the Army National Guard from 1986 to 1994.
Chris had been employed as a truck driver, traveling to forty-nine states during his thirty years in the transportation business.
Some of his favorite hobbies were fishing, hunting, rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends. Chris was affiliated with the Salvation Army in Nashua, where he dressed as Santa Claus during the Christmas season. He held membership in Nashua Lodge 720, Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks.
In addition to his mother, Lorrain Deveaux; Chris is survived by his wife, Cheryl A. (Levesque) Houle, whom he married on July 11, 2020; four children, Ryan Houle, Kayleigh Houle, Kellsie Houle and Karra Houle; four grandchildren; step-children, Tiffany, Julianne, Richard, Kayleigh, James, Connor, Kevin and Isabelle D’Amico; four brothers, Jason Houle, Jeremy Houle, Anthony Deveaux and Nicholas Houle; step-brothers, Bobbie, Steven and David; his father-in-law, Rene P. Levesque of Nashua; also nieces, nephews and cousins. A Graveside service and Army Honors will take place in St. Louis Cemetery, 752 West Hollis Street, Nashua, Tuesday morning, October 5th at 11 o’clock. Family and friends are invited to attend.
