Bill was a warm and caring man, a wonderful co worker, and a great salesman. Not many people knew as much about furniture as he did and I learned so much from him at C. H . Avery. Thank you, Bill, for your kindness and humor.

I was a teacher at Ledge Street School when Bill worked as one of our custodians and cafeteria monitors. He was a very warm, kind, and generous person. Bill often bought small gifts for the students in my class during the holidays or sometimes even items that a particular child might be in need of. He never wanted any recognition for this. The smiles these gestures brought were always enough thanks for him. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I knew him as Will and always enjoyed his smile, sense of humor and upbeat personality. I had not seen him since one of our class reunions many years ago, but for some reason memories of him would pop up occasionally. He had a kind and engaging way about him that I am sure served him well in life.
