OLSEN, DOROTHY

    Dorothy Enman Olsen, 96, of Nashua, after living a Fulfilled life, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving daughters.         

   Born in Waltham, Massachusetts, her family moved back to Prince Edward Island, Canada where she lived until her early twenties.

   Dorothy returned to the United States and married Gordon M. “Swede” Olsen, Jr., who passed away in 1992. She and Gordon resided throughout New England where they raised their three daughters, Donna Houle of Nashua, ZoeAnn Carlson of Salem and Penny Jamerson of Nashua. Dorothy and her family also enjoyed a home on Prince Edward Island every summer creating cherished memories to last a lifetime.  

  Dorothy was a member of the Church of The Good Shepherd of Nashua. She will lovingly be remembered not only by her daughters, but also by all her family, neighbors and friends who will greatly miss her wit, strength and wisdom. She left this world peacefully in grace and love.

  Per her wishes, a private service will be held for her family. Special thanks to Home Health & Hospice Care of Merrimack for their compassion and service.

Donna, ZoeAnn and Penney, I just heard of your mom's passing. I remember her as a lady of style and class. 96 is a good run. May she rest peacefully in God's light.
