Larry R. Case, 66, a lifelong Nashua resident, passed away unexpectedly early Monday morning, April 4, 2022 after a brief illness.
Born in Nashua on December 5, 1955, he was a son of the late Royal E. and Louise (Lavoie) Case. Educated in local schools, Larry was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1974. An Army veteran, he proudly served his country.
Larry was employed as a maintenance supervisor at the Nashua Public Library for over 33 years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, hiking, kayaking, traveling, and was an avid sports fan. Larry will be remembered for his very sociable personality and was the most loving and caring person. He had a wonderful way of making people feel special, and he always thought of others before himself. Larry was a constant source of laughter and fun for all, he was always the life of the party. He was truly a special person that will be forever missed by everyone he met.
Members of his family include his wife, Mary “Ethel” (Touchette) Case, whom he married on July 17, 1982 and would have celebrated their 40th anniversary this summer; he is survived by his children, Benjamin “Dill” Case and his wife, Kathleen, and Jessica “Baloob” Blazka and her husband Andrew; a grandson, Lucas “Pasqual” Blazka; four sisters, Betty Cernuda and her husband George, Linda Rainey, Patty Turman and Mary McLaughlin and her husband Paul; his brother, William Case; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Monday, April 11th from 5 to 8 p.m. His funeral service will be held in the funeral home, Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. There will be an after-funeral reception at The Event Center, Courtyard by Marriot at 12:30pm on Tuesday at 2200 Southwood Drive, Nashua, NH 03063.
