Larry R. Case

I am so sad to hear about Larry Case. I worked with him at the library for several years, and he always had such great stories. We would talk about traveling, music, gardening, and he was always quick with a joke to make me smile. When I think of Larry I think of laughter. My deepest sympathy to everyone in his family.

So sorry to hear about Larry and shocked. Worked on the Bookmobile and had an office next to him at the library for several years. He was a great guy, hardworking and helpful to me assisting me whenever I asked. So sorry for your loss as he will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Uncle Larry wth!! We weren’t done making memories. There was never a dull moment with you around, Always laughter and great stories. Your smile lit up the room. Larry was truly one of a kind--a jack of all trades, an inventor of life hacks (that sometimes worked but always made us laugh!), master of making jokes, handyman, inventor of cocktails, friend of all, and someone who absolutely made the most of every day. He was a source of constant laughter for us, and I know I speak for many when I say he brightened our days. He often spoke of his love for his family, his daughter and son, and of course, his "favorite grandson". Though I never met the majority of the Case family, I felt like I knew you from the stories Larry would tell me. I'll always cherish the time I spent working with Larry. He will be missed by many. My deepest condolences to you all during this difficult time.

To the one person who believed in me more than I ever could myself , he made the hard days better and the easy days just that much more amazing . He wasn’t only my boss but someone I could truly call a best friend . There were so many more convos to have , laughs to share and memories to make. He was the most loving and caring man I have and will ever meet. I love you so much Larry and can’t begin to tell you how much I will miss you ❤️

The Hebra and Abelleira families never forget our friend Larry. He was a friend to all of us, and beloved by the older generation of our family, who nicknamed him Ñico, after a friend of theirs from our barrio in Cuba. Not only did Larry look like him, he had the same sunny, sweet personality. I can’t even think of Larry without smiling. That’s how infectious his smile always was. I loved reading the story of his life here. What a wonderful husband brother father friend. Rest in peace dear friend .

So sad to have gotten the news. You were such a funny happy person. I remember you calling me shrubs because I was so short and you bouncing me on your leg and the long goodbyes after each visit. So many great memories of you that are forever in my heart. Rest in peace Uncle Larry until we meet again ❤

Always a smile. Always busy but always willing to give me a hand when I needed one. To work with Larry meant to laugh with Larry. He was a constant presence in the Nashua Public Library and he will be deeply missed. My prayers for his beloved family during this difficult time.

We have only had the pleasure of knowing Larry for a short time, but in that short time we have discovered what everyone who knew him knows. A happy face, a great laugh, and a kind word for everyone he met. I fondly remember the first time our son Andrew brought him over to our house and we knew instantly how lucky our son would be to have him as a father-in-law. But the look of joy on his face when Jessica and Drew announced they were expecting was beyond description. To the best friend I ever had; I can’t believe you’re gone! The news of your passing has left us all grieving. Larry Case (or Skinner to me) was more than a friend. I always considered him the brother I never had. I will always remember and cherish the nearly five decades of friendship, adventures and just plain life experiences we shared together. I’ll still be talking to you every week…it just won’t be on the phone! Until we meet again, my friend!

My condolences go out to Larry’s entire family especially my dear friends Linda and Betty. Time flys by so quickly. It seems like only yesterday when we were all close friends. Larry always had a smile and apparently shared that love of life with all his neighbors and friends. My prayers are with with you ..

Larry was always helpful to the Friends of the Nashua Public Library who volunteered in the building. He would put up shelving, give us advice on how things would work best, and took care of whatever we needed. The Friends send our deepest condolences to all who loved Larry. We shall miss him.

My sincere condolences to the entire Case family. We grew up in the same neighborhood and I worked with him for many years at the library. Everyone one at the library loved Larry. Always happy and so much fun to be around. I am shocked and saddened to hear of his passing.

We could never have asked for a better next door neighbor. When our nine year old daughter Elena lost a grandpa several years ago, Larry just stepped up to fill that role. They would garden together. He came to our outdoor movies. He dressed up to attend Elena's violin recital on our driveway and even brought her flowers. Larry and my husband put up her swing together. I could go on and on. Larry was one of a kind, one of the sweetest and most caring people we have ever known. Our thoughts, prayers, and so much love are with Mary, Ben, Jessica, and all of Larry's family. Our hearts are broken and we cherish the years we knew him.

Larry you will be missed by so many who loved and cared for you RIP my big brother. Until we meet again

Mary, Ben, Jessica, I’m so sorry to hear the sad news about Larry. My deepest sympathies to you all. Larry always brightened my days at the library. He was always chipper and cheerful and he was a great co-worker, friend, and occasional hiking companion. I miss you so much already Larry. No more long talks (mostly by you). No more trying to teach me how to garden. No more making plans for the beach. I’m not sure how I can do this alone.
