Otilia Margarita Arguello, 72, of Nashua, NH, passed away at her home, early Monday morning, July 25, 2022 after a period of declining health.
A native of Coatepeque, Guatemala, she was born on May 14, 1950, a daughter of Carlos and Maria Angela (Gonzalez) Arguello. Otilia grew up in Guatemala and as a young woman immigrated to the United States, where she made her home in Maryland, California and Saugus, Massachusetts before moving to Nashua.
Fondly known as “Chiqui”, she was a loving mother and grandmother. She was adventurous and loved to travel the world with her loved ones. Chiqui loved to spend time with her friends, loved to cook; loved her job and loved her pets. She touched so many people with her sincere friendship, love and beautiful smile. Chiqui was so funny that many would say she was the life of the party. She was strong, loving and proud. These are just a few words to describe her. She will be missed by so many whom she touched over the years. Chiqui was and will continue to be our source of inspiration.
Members of her family include four children, Tania Carolina Funes Arguello and her husband Jonathan Flores, Carlos Antonio Funes Arguello and his wife Alejandra Funes Perez, Rene Mauricio Arguello and his wife Lisa Vukosa, and Jose Manuel Funes Arguello and his wife Christina Mace; her ten grandchildren, Jose Alvarado Funes, Emilio Flores Funes, Natalia Flores Funes, Claudio Jose Funes Perez, Mariana Funes Perez, Luca Funes Perez, Alessandro Arguello, Maksim Arguello, William Mace and Jovanny Jiminez.
