Lorraine A. Houle, 88, a Nashua native and longtime resident, passed away at the Mountain View Community in Ossipee, Wednesday morning, October 19, 2022.
A daughter of the late Maurice O. and Antoinette M. (Cadorette) Bullard, she was born on January 9, 1934. Educated in local schools, Lorraine was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1951. She was homemaker to her family and also worked at Benson’s Wild Animal Park in Hudson for many years and later worked Dunkin Donuts on Amherst Street in Nashua for many years.
Lorraine made her home in Nashua for many years and also resided in Windham and Antrim, NH, and Phoenix, AZ. She was a communicant of St. Christopher Church.
Members of her family include her five children and their spouses, Richard and Elizabeth Houle of Hudson, Michael and Wendy Houle of Litchfield, Gail and Stan Peskin of Phoenix, AZ, Kathy and Richard Dumont of Antrim, and Patti and Richard Erickson of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Colton and Mikaela Houle, Matt and Abby Houle, Kaylee Erickson, Peter Dumont and family, Glenn and Jill Dumont; three great-grandsons, Jake, Russell and Benjamin Dumont; a nephew, Robert M. Bullard Jr.; and a niece, Judith A. Bullard both of Manchester. In addition to her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by her brother, Robert M. Bullard; and her former husband Russell R. “Red” Houle.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Christopher Church, 62 Manchester Street, Nashua, Thursday, October 27th at 11 a.m. Family and friends are invited to the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:30.
