Kevin T. Bryan Jr., Mi’gmaw from Gespe’gewa’gi, Mi’gma’gi and long-time resident of Nashua, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, December 11, 2022, at the age of 27. 

Born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, Canada on February 6, 1995, he is a son of Brenda Speller of Gesgapegiag, Quebec and Kevin T. Bryan of Derry, New Hampshire. In addition to his parents, Kevin is survived by his son, Jayden Isiah Bryan-Galafassi; his sisters, Melissa Bryan and Melanie Bryan; his brothers, Jonathan Rosenthal and Jeremy Speller; his maternal grandparents, Ernestine and Wales Condo; mother of his son, Jessica Galafassi, and his partner Brenda Baez. 

Fondly known as “Jazz” by his family and friends, he attended Nashua High School North with ambitions to continue his education afterwards. He is acknowledged as an exceptional basketball athlete and often relied on the sport as medicine. In addition to competing, he also shared his love and teachings of the game with his son. 

Jazz was funny, caring, and warm-hearted and would always lend a helping hand unselfishly. His compassion and love for his people was his greatest strength, to which inspired those around him to be better. Jazz will be dearly missed and remembered by his loved ones forever.

Very sad. Unexpectedly these days means passed away from complications from the Covid vaccine, AKA the clot shot. Please parents and yourselves, do not give that shot to anyone.

Kev, this loss was truly unexpected and hurt when I found out. You always had a smile on your face, always tried to keep people laughing. This loss is a big one. You were so young and had a future ahead of you. Continue to send love to your son and your family. I know every time the sun shines they'll know it's you. Rest in paradise homie 🤍
