Felicia J. Flahive, 83, of Nashua, passed away Thursday morning, January 12, 2023 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester on March 1, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen Piterak. She was a high school graduate and studied some courses at a local college.
A resident of Nashua for many years, Felicia was employed at Triangle Pacific Cabinet Corporation for twenty years. She later worked for a book bindery and continued her career at Nashua Wallpaper & Paint as a bookkeeper.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed traveling and train rides around New England with her son Patrick. Some of their favorite destinations were the Lakes Region of New Hampshire and beaches near Newburyport, MA.
Felicia was predeceased by her husband, Clarence T. Flahive; her son, Patrick T. Flahive, who passed away September 15, 2017; and her brother, Frederick Piterak.
Members of her family include her son, Michael A. Flahive of Nashua; sister-in-law, Dolly Piterak; three nieces and a nephew, Lynne Piterak and Lisa Piterak of California, Mark Flahive and Wendy Flahive of Hudson.
Her family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Intensive Care Unit of Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and the Nashua Dialysis for their care, comfort and kindness to Felicia.
Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERALHOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Thursday evening, January 19th from 5 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring Street, Nashua, Friday, January 20th at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson.
