Estelle J. Ogle, 93, a lifelong Nashua resident, widow of Norman J. Ogle, passed away Thursday morning, October 12, 2023 after a period of declining health.
Born in Nashua on January 6, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Oswald J. and Alma B. (Lambert) Caron. Educated in local schools, Estelle attended St. Louis de Gonzague parochial school and graduated from Nashua High School Class of 1948.
In addition to raising her family, she was employed as a secretary at the former Improved Machinery Corporation and their successor Ingersoll-Rand.
A communicant of Immaculate Conception Parish, Estelle had sang it the church choir. She loved music and singing and performed with the Silver Lining Chorus and the Ding a Ling Bell Ringers in Nashua. She also held membership in the Red Hat Society.
Estelle and her husband Norman shared many years together until his passing on September 18, 1990.
Members of her family include her sons and daughters-in-law, William A. and Brenda Ogle, Thomas M. and Cecile Ogle and the late Dennis Greenwood and his wife Heather Greenwood; six grandchildren, Kimberly Albee and her husband Rob, Byron Greenwood, Shawni Taylor, Joshua Ogle, Hailey Ogle and Addison Ogle; a great-granddaughter, Charlotte Albee; two brothers, Paul Caron and his wife Jean of Hudson and Gerard Caron of Fort Worth, TX; also nieces, nephews and cousins. Estelle was also predeceased by three brothers, Norman, Raymond and Conrad Caron.
Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Wednesday evening, October 18th from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 216 East Dunstable Road, Nashua on Thursday, October 19th at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery.
