Kevin George Harvey Sr., 68, of Nashua, passed away at his home, Saturday morning, October 28, 2023, with his loving family by his side, after a period of declining health.
A resident of Nashua for many years, Kevin was born in Hudson, New York on February 9, 1955, one of six children of the late Frank Charles and Alma Katherine (Stutzman) Harvey, he also had 5 siblings from the late Frank and Eleanor Harvey. He grew up in Philmont, New York, where he was educated and graduated from Taconic Hills High School, Class of 1974.
Kevin had been employed by the City of Nashua for 17 years as a heavy equipment operator. He worked in Parks and Recreation, the Department of Public Works and the Waste-Water Treatment plant.
An avid sports fan, Kevin enjoyed working with the former Nashua Pirates and Nashua Pride baseball teams.
Members of his family include his wife of 48 years, Deanna L. (Donnelly) Harvey, whom he married on July 20, 1975; his five children, Kevin G. Harvey Jr. and his wife Samantha, Kenneth J. Harvey and his wife Patricia, Darren M. Harvey and his wife Katie, Deanna L. McIntyre and her husband Christopher, and Devon A. Harvey; twenty-three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; five brothers, Hans, Keith, Timmy, Harry and Kent; three sisters, Eudora, Kathy and Kyle; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Kevin was predeceased by two siblings.
