Betty Ann Schneider, 92, of Lowell, MA and formerly of Tyngsborough, MA, widow of Frank A. Schneider, passed away Thursday morning, December 14, 2023 at Fairhaven Healthcare Center, after a period of declining health.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 1, 1931, she was a daughter of the late John and Florence (Potts) Taylor. Betty grew up in Lowell and was a graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1948. During her high school years, she was the head leader of the Baton Twirlers. Betty furthered her education at Lowell Commercial College.
Betty was a homemaker and also worked as a payroll clerk for the Boott Cotton Mills in Lowell for six years and later at Piconics, Inc. of Tyngsborough for twenty- five years.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed going to the beach, shopping and sewing.
Members of her family include her children, Frank J. Schneider and Donna Pierce; and her dear friend and caregiver, Scott Congdon.
