    Carol A. Boucher, 86, of Goffstown and formerly of Nashua, widow of Benoit R. Boucher, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester after a period of declining health.         

   A resident of Goffstown for the past twenty years, she was born in Nashua on July 17, 1937, the daughter of the late Victor J. and Catherine (Dolan) Roy. Educated in local schools, Carol attended the former Sacred Heart School of St. Patrick Church and graduated from Nashua High School Class of 1955.

    In her leisure time, Carol and her husband enjoyed camping in their RV for 50 years and traveling around the country and spending winters in Florida. She was also an avid reader.

    Carol and Ben were married on January 30, 1960 and shared 63 years together until his passing on August 12, 2023.

   Members of her family include her five sons, David Boucher and his wife Karie, Marc Boucher, Joel Boucher, T.J. Boucher and his wife Lisa, and Christopher Boucher and his wife Nancy Simoneau; her nine grandchildren, Benjamin Boucher and his wife Carrie, Natalie Paradi and her husband Robert, Todd Boucher, Ethan Boucher, Gavin Boucher, Amber Rogers, Cori Boucher, Terri Hardy and her husband Van, and Harleigh Boucher; twelve great-grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren; also nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, Carol was predeceased by her brothers, Robert Roy and Victor J. Roy, Jr.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Carol and Ben at St. Christopher Church, 62 Manchester Street, Nashua, Saturday, June 22nd at 10 a.m.  Interment will take place in Edgewood Cemetery. Following the interment, a Celebration of Her Life will follow at Carol’s home, 63 Montelona Road, Goffstown, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. So sorry to hear about the passing of Carol. She was my sister's best friend for at least 70 years, and she lived just across the street from us for many years. She will now be reunited with her other best friend and husband, Ben. You were a great friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew you and Ben.
