The Lachance family always welcomed me with open arms. Growing up, I attended many celebrations, including birthdays and holiday events. Looking back, I realize these times helped me grow into the man I am. I've always considered them extended family, I miss those times. I am sorry for everyone's loss, please accept my condolence.

Love and condolences to the entire Lachance family. I met Don about 10 years ago through Donna and he immediately reminded me of my dad, also Don, who had already passed away. Therefore, he has always held a very special place in my heart. I have always thought very highly of him and the Lachance "clan". I admire the closeness of the family, their honesty, humor, sincerity and welcoming spirit. You can bet that Don and Lorraine were the influences that nurtured all of those qualities and more in their family. The world has lost an amazing man.

We join Jim and Rita Steele in extending our deepest condolences to Don's family. Gail worked for him for 10+ years, and she considered him the best boss she ever had. We were fortunate to enjoy numerous get-togethers at his house and to share good times with Don, Lorraine and the family. The world is a better place having had Don in it!

Jimmy and I wish to extend our most sincere condolences to Julie, Susan, Donna, Danny and David and their families. It is so very difficult to lose parents. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. I met Don in 1964 when we worked together at the Poliquin Insurance Agency and have been friends ever since. Little did I know I would eventually work for Don at the Lachance Northwest Insurance Agency for 17 years. That turned out to be the best years of my career. He was a wonderful man loved by every one he knew. He had a great personality and a great sense of humor!! He was so much fun to be around! I admired him for his work ethics, honesty, sincerity, and he was highly respected by all who knew him. Jim and I feel so blessed to have had him, Lorraine and their children as our extended family for so many years! Rest in peace with your beautiful wife, our dear dear friend!! We love you and you will both always be in our hearts. Til we meet again "LE BOSS"! You will be missed!!
