
Frederick Ray McIntosh, 82, a longtime Mont Vernon resident, passed away at his home, Sunday afternoon, March 30, 2025 after a period of declining health.
Born in Brookline, New Hampshire on September 5, 1942, he was the son of the late Gertrude M. (Wilkins) Stewart Corkins and Clyde Stewart. Ray grew up in Hollis and was educated in Brookline and Hollis schools.
Ray was employed as an automotive technician with the Department of Public Works in Milford for 37 years.
In his leisure time, Ray enjoyed racing cars, motorcycles, fishing and hunting.
Members of his family include his four children, Holly Reilly, Tammy Stewart, Lissa Vincent and Allen McIntosh; six grandchildren, Jessica Caswell, Jeremiah “JR” Reilly, William Gilbody, Hailey Vincent, Landon Smith and Orianna Horne; four great-grandchildren, Jaelynn Caswell, Shay Caswell, Lyla Gilbody and Greyson Gilbody; his sister, Edith L. Stewart; and a niece, Roxanne Salas. In addition to his parents, Ray was predeceased by a nephew, Ross Nularczk.
