Cecile M. Thibault, 95, a longtime Nashua resident, passed away Thursday evening, November 19, 2015 at the D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell, MA after a period of declining health.
A daughter of the late Henri and Virginie (Laverdiere) Thibault, she was born in Nashua on August 1, 1920. Cecile grew up in the French Hill neighborhood of this city and was educated at the former St. Francis Xavier Parochial School.
Cecile had been employed with Nashua Corporation in its packaging department for several years.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, George, Armand and Henri Thibault; three sisters, Rita Thibault, Marie Gaudette and Sister Annette Thibault, C.S.J.; and a nephew, Dennis Gaudette.
Members of her family include her brother, The Rev. Camillus Thibault, A.A. of Worcester, MA; a sister, Aline Bourdeau of Millbury, MA; nieces and nephews, Suzanne Dery and her husband Daniel of Lowell, MA, Leonard Gaudette and his wife Cheryl of Lawrence, MA, Roger Gaudette of Nashua, Marc Bourdeau of Florida, David Bourdeau and his wife Cheryl, Anne Marie Camusso and her husband Andrew, and Ronald Bourdeau and his wife Martha all of Millbury, MA; also many grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 50 West Hollis Street, Nashua on Saturday, November 28th at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend and will gather at the church. Donations may be made in her memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 1340 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, MA 01826.
