Anne D. (LaBelle) Landry, 82, of Nashua, widow of Arthur W. Landry Jr., passed away Friday morning, December 11, 2015 at the Ridgewood Center in Bedford after a brief illness.
Mrs. Landry was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on April 4, 1933, a daughter of the late Joseph and Annie (LaFrance) LaBelle. She was educated in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1951.
A resident of Nashua for the past 57 years, Anne had been employed as manager of the cash office of the former Montgomery Ward department store at the Nashua Mall for several years and later worked for Maine Manufacturing Company and Data Mate until her retirement.
Anne and her husband Arthur were married on January 25, 1958 and shared 29 years together until his passing on April 19, 1987. She was also predeceased by her four siblings, Edward LaBelle, Rita Cassidy, Raymond LaBelle and Henry LaBelle.
Members of her family include four children and their spouses, David A. and Lauren Landry of Lynnfield, MA, Susan A. and James Stearns of Wilton, Kevin M. and Cynthia Landry of Manchester and Joseph M. and Lisa Landry of Auburn; twelve grandchildren, Ava, Owen, Dana, Heather, Heidi, Joshua, Robert, Jennifer, Ethan, Isaac, Aidan and Evan; five great-grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews with whom she was very close.
Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 8 o’clock. Following cremation, interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN.
