Adella “Bunny” Stulgis, 100, a native and former Nashua resident, widow of Bruno Stulgis, passed away at her home at Bentley Commons in Bedford on Thursday afternoon, December 20, 2018.
Mrs. Stulgis was born in Nashua on March 3, 1918, a daughter of the late Edward and Katherine Jazukiavich. She was educated in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1936. For many years, Bunny owned and operated the New Method Laundry in Nashua. She later worked as a secretarial aide at New Searles Elementary School and also served as a substitute monitor for the Nashua School District.
A communicant of the former St. Casimir Church, Bunny was a member of the St. Joseph Society and a Past President of the St. Casmir Ladies Guild. For twenty- five years, she was a volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crocheting and cross word puzzles.
Bunny was predeceased by her husband Bruno, who passed away in March of 1981 and her brother, Veto Jazel in April 1996.
Members of her family include nieces, Lisa Jazel and Karen Merluzzi; a nephew, Steve Jazel; and several cousins.
A Graveside Service will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Ledge Road in Hudson, Wednesday morning, January 2nd at 11 o’clock. Friends are invited to attend. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
