My name is LizNewland with my partner Gerry L Newland. We live in Melbourne Australia. In October 1998 we came to Goochland Virginia as part of the Air Hill Humber family. Prior to that date in around September 1998 we stayed with Alice at her home in Florida. As I am still doing genealogy on this family and its connections to John Humber and his wife Jean would certainly like to hear from family members. I am very sorry to hear of her passing since 1998.

I will miss Alice's sweet smiling face when I visited my mom. She knew the words to every song that was played. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Jenn Calabro, daughter of Jean Cleary

I haven't been able to see Aunt Alice is a few years due to living in the Midwest, but all the times we shared together at different family events or visits were great. She was always willing to just chat & listen. I will always remember her by having a huge smile on her face whenever I saw her. I always thought she never had an angry bone in her body! She will be greatly missed by all.

I have the fondest of memories of Alice, from family gatherings starting with Chip and Ilse's wedding in 1955 (Alice was the matron of honor; I was 4 years old at the time), to more recent years which included fun cocktail parties that Ilse arranged with Alice and Albert on my visits to NH. Rest in peace, dear Alice. My condolences to the LeBlanc and McCann families.

Was my privilege to be this wonderful woman's nurse at the end. She was a blessing to all who knew her. She will be missed.
