NUNEZ, ANA M. CARD PROOF

Ana M. Nunez, 70, passed away on Tuesday morning, September 3, 2019 in Nashua, NH after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic on August 4, 1949, a daughter of the late Ana Maria (Reyes) and Rosendo DeJesus Nunez. Ana was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She lived in Nashua for almost two decades after residing in New York City, where she birthed and raised her three sons.

Ana is survived by her three children, David Vasquez, Victor Vasquez and Jerry Vasquez. In addition to her children she is also survived by her daughters-in-law, Milly and Elizabeth; her grandchildren, Kayla, Mason, Max, Aliyah, Adalia, Elijah and Jason. Ana will be missed by her siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles and many other family and friends.

Ana was loved and will always be remembered for being a doting mother, for her delicious cooking, her charismatic storytelling, her great sense of humor, her love of family (especially family gatherings in her home on Good Friday which she loved to host) and her dislike of Facebook and her picture taken.  Ana was always smiling, always willing to lend a sympathetic ear and never afraid to speak her mind.

Visitation will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, Friday, September 6th from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 West Hollis Street, Nashua, Saturday morning, September 7th at 10 o’clock. To David, Jerry and Victor. Our condolences to you and your family. Ana was our cousin and we will always remember her. Every time I saw Ana she had a smile. You probably don't remember me, because last time I saw you, you were very young boys. Love to all.
