Annette G. Delude, 89, of Nashua, widow of Norman R. “Red” Delude, died early Tuesday morning, January 20, 2015 at Kindred Healthcare after a period of declining health.
A lifelong resident of this city, Mrs. Delude was born on June 4, 1925, daughter of the late Louis A. and Corinne (Mallette) Poulin. Educated in local schools, “Ann” was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1942 and furthered her education at the former Nashua Business College, graduating in 1944.
Ann and her husband Norman were married in June 1945 and made their home on Blanchard Street for many years. A homemaker, Mrs. Delude also assisted her husband in the management of his accounting business for several years.
Mrs. Delude was an officer of the Nashua Republican Club and held membership in the Nashaway Women’s Club. She was a former communicant of St. Joseph Church and was an active member of the Rosary Altar Society for many years.
In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her husband Norman who died June 22, 1995; and a sister-in-law, Mona Caron.
Members of her family include four sons, Richard A. Delude and his wife Dawn of Durham, Ronald N. Delude and his wife Rita of Merrimack, Robert C. Delude of Merrimack and his fiancée Karen St. Hilaire of Tyngsborough, MA and Russell L. Delude of Florida; eight grandchildren, Kerry, David, Erin, Ronald Jr, Matthew, Jonathan, Joseph and Daniel; seven great-grandchildren, Shaylee, Matthew Jr, Jacob, Hannah, Emily, MaryJane and Zachary; also nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 West Hollis Street, Nashua on Tuesday, January 27th at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery.
