April (Wilcox) Griesinger, 66, of Nashua, widow of Gereald “Jerry” Griesinger, passed away early Monday morning, March 18, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on Christmas of 1957, she was the daughter of the late Wendell W. Wilcox and Shirley M. (Thomas) Wilcox Kidney. April grew up in Presque Isle, Maine and was a graduate of Presque Isle High School Class of 1977.
A resident of Nashua since the 1980s, April began her career as an Avon Lady while she was raising her family, where she met and kept her good friends Monica Gagne, Peggy Lewis and Barbara Haigh. She continued as a receptionist for Dr. Roy Frampton of Nashua for many years and later worked at Burque Jewelers and Visiting Angels.
In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, keeping current with her soap shows and spending time with her friends and loved ones. Making memories with her Granddaughters brought her so much joy. April was also an avid shopper. Loved a good thrift store and thrived on a bargain buzz. She also had a special love of restoring furniture pieces to display her treasured family heirlooms and antique finds. She enjoyed many of these hobbies alongside her best friends Susan O’Connor and Jeanine Ulliani. April tried never to turn down an invite, from coffee on her sunny porch to a wedding and everything in between. You could often find her with a margarita at Margarita’s with Leo, dressed in her best.
April is survived by her daughters Jessica (Lewin) Bulluck and her husband Jonathon Taylor Bulluck of Nashua, NH; Megan (Crevier) Byrnes and her husband Patrick Byrnes of Bath, ME and daughter by love Judy Rood of Oswego, NY. Brothers Kevin Wilcox and his wife Denise of Presque Isle, ME and Shannon Kidney of Presque Isle, ME. Granddaughters Kylie Rood, Mackenzie Byrnes, Melissa Byrnes, Mallory Byrnes and Lena Bulluck. Companion Leo E. Parent of Litchfield, NH.
